Fresher mornings, conkers on the ground and the hedgerows full of berries just ripe for the picking…. It’s definitely starting to feel autumnal…. and this has to be my very favourite season for family portraits.
I was out walking earlier this morning, scouting some new locations for shoots and I found some lovely spots. They look great now but I know that in a few weeks time, when nature puts on her most magnificent show and the leaves start turning yellow, orange and red…that they will look stunning.
I found perfect woodland paths which will allow me to capture gorgeous shots of children running towards me, holding hands. They’ll be leaves all around ready for having lots of fun with- throwing then up in the air or diving into heaped piles!!
Just imagine yourselves there, with the soft flattering light filtering through the trees - your children running around, cheeks flushed, everyone smiling, laughing…..
The photos will be stunning!!!
If you’ve followed me for a while you might remember that I was quite ill end of last year - admitted to hospital with pneumonia - basically I’d run myself completely ragged!!! This is always one of my busiest times of the year and due to commitments and commissions already in place I’ve decided, in order to maintain some sort of balance in my life, that I’m only going to offer three more family portrait sessions this year.
So if like me, you love autumn and if you love my photography and thought perhaps this year you’d really like me to capture your family in our beautiful countryside looking it’s finest, please, please do get in touch as once the spaces are filled up ……they’re filled up, and we won’t have another opportunity until this time next year.
If you have any questions at all then please feel free to drop me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll answer any queries you have.
I’m off now - I picked some rose hips when I was out and I’m going to try my hand at some rose hip syrup!!!
