Every year the RSPB run a Big Schools' Birdwatch - fun and educational activities for children across the UK, encouraging them to learn more about birds and the natural world. It includes counting the birds they see in their school grounds which forming part of the Big Garden Birdwatch - the the world's largest wildlife survey.

I'm joining in the fun this year by running a photography competition for local school children. I'm looking your best photographs of a bird/s taken between now and February 23rd. The winners will win a 1-2-1 photography lesson with myself and a photography workshop for their class.
I have two age groups for entrants.
Age 5 - 9
Age 10 - 16
I'm very pleased to announce the winner of the competition is Celeste, aged 7!

How to Enter
Please submit your entries by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12pm on 23rd February.
Please include the name of child, their age and their school.
I will announce the winner via my website on Monday 26th February.

2. I will accept entries from children in and around Basingstoke (10 mile radius).
3. The photo has to be of a wild bird not one taken at a zoo etc...
